Welcome to Birchwood Printing Studio

I am a Tasmanian print maker who fell in love with linocuts years ago but have only recently started creating works after raising my family. 

My art gallery is based at my home in Burnie, Tasmania.

The name Birchwood Studio came from my original studio location which was in my parent's shed where I could watch the seasons change through the leaves of a large silver birch tree. The studio name is appreciation to my parents for giving me that space to start my art dream. 

I grew up at a very small but beautiful place called Sisters Beach. Being close to a National Park and the beach exposed me to an amazing array of natural beauty which is evident in many of my works. 

To say I am inspired by the environment around me would be an understatement.
